The Mathematics Specialist Certificate Program (MSCP) is designed for teachers of upper elementary grades and designed to prepare you for future leadership opportunities in elementary mathematics.

Time Commitment

• Two year program
• Weekly courses during the academic year are held once a week from September to May. Classes will run from approximately 4:15 to 7:00 PM.

Cost

All MSCP courses are offered at reduced tuition rates and include free materials.

Course Content and Expectations

The coursework consists of 12 units in mathematics and teacher education (pedagogy). The program is focused on helping teachers gain a deep understanding of the mathematics taught in grades 4-6 and the skills needed to teach mathematics effectively.

Year One - 6 Semester Units

Year Two - 6 Semester Units
